In 2009, Glenn Rogers began serving as Area Missionary (Director of Missions) for the Seminole Baptist Association in Central Florida.
Prior to that he and his family were SBC Missionaries with the North American Mission Board in Nevada. There he served the Lord nearly ten years as State Director of Evangelism and Prayer including work with Strategic Focus Cities in Las Vegas.
Glenn served three churches as a Senior Pastor for twenty years in Florida and Tennessee.
Glenn graduated from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee. While there, he was privileged to be on staff at Bellevue Baptist Church serving in a variety of ways, including being a special ministry assistant to Dr. Adrian Rogers.
Before going to the Seminary, he and his wife attended Capernwray Missionary Fellowship in England, a Bible school founded by Major Ian Thomas.
He was born and reared in Kissimmee, FL and later returned there to be a school teacher and football coach after graduating from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
After graduation Glenn served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant.
His great desire is to help churches make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In addition to the great privilege of serving pastors and churches he enjoys reading from great saints of the past, as well as hunting, shooting, and camping as ways to get away and be renewed.
